Welcome to my compassionate therapy space

Who I am and what I offer

With over 30 years in health care, 17 of those as an RN, I have seen how important mental health is to one’s overall quality of life and how it interconnects with one’s emotional and physical health. Using compassion as my guide, I will help you understand those connections so that you can navigate life with increased peace and joy.

Together, we will explore what has brought you to therapy and what you want from the experience. I aim to create a space for personal bravery. I lead with empathy and use my authentic self as a tool for connecting. I use a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to help you achieve personal and relational growth.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, health issues, relationship issues, parenting, caregiving, and childhood attachment, among others.

I draw from a variety of modalities to meet the client's needs. Those modalities include but are not limited to, CBT, DBT, ACT, SBFT, Compassion-Focused, Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, narrative, and more. Having multiple modalities to work from allows me to meet the client's needs more authentically.

However, the central component of our work together is the relationship developed between you and me. I, too, have overcome barriers on my path to mental and emotional wellness. I utilize these experiences as appropriate in our sessions while staying focused on you and your needs.

I currently accept cash pay and am in-network with Kaiser, Premara, BCBS, Heritage and Lifewise. I will soon be able to take Aetna. I can also provide a Superbill for OON providers.

Sessions are $120-$150
